I have been trying to research the names of the members who started the Friends of Lucy Robbins Welles Library back in 1961 and so far haven't had much luck but I haven't had a chance to look in all the files yet. The Friends died down and were reactivated in 1979 so there are more records available from the 1980's. If anyone has come across information from the 1960's in any of the old files, please share where you saw it.
